What are you accountable for?
I am accountable at home, at work, at volleyball, as an aunt, as a neighbor, as a friend, as an accomplice (Katie) to bad decisions, but not lately as a blogger.
So today we define accountability:
ac·count·abil·i·ty: the quality or state of being accountable; especially : an obligation or willingness to accept responsibility or to account for one's actions <public officials lacking accountability>
Anyway, now that we know what it means, we can move to more important things.
What's new??
Well I've recently encountered another DUD and therefore bought the book "A Man Worth Waiting For"... So far so good, but I think I should have read "Lady in Waiting" first due to my lack of understanding of what's going on. Just mostly. Fortunately for me, though, I catch on quick and it's going well! It talks about Boaz... Boaz is the opposite of a Bozo. If you're like me, and waiting for a guy that's "worthwhile", read it. I urge you.
What else? I have been doing some DIY shtuff.
AND YOU CAN FIND THIS ON INSTAGRAM... Yeah you can.
I painted my bathroom! OK I painted my bathroom AGAIN. I painted my entire house when I moved in because the original paint was crap. Not that it was ugly (but it was) however the previous owners were renting it to people who cared less about cleanliness than I care about croquet. Which isn't a whole lot. Evidently the renters were "pissed" that the owners sold the house and urinated (yes, they peed) on every wall in the house.
I had to clean all of the walls then paint them. I will take pictures of the rest of the house when I have it pretty. I need stuff on the walls yet. It's only been a year.
I also made some new candle holders... I pretty much love them. The colors in my house are: flowerpot red, sable (brown), rain (the blue in the bathroom above), some sort of beige (that's not the name of the color, I can't remember what the color is called), and I think that's it. Not too many colors but remember, it's only 1,200 square feet.
Other things I am working on so far are Christmas gifts so you don't get to see them (yet). However I will give you a 30 second run down and a couple of photos to keep you happy
My brother, his girlfriend, me, mom, aunt Julie, cousin Brian, and a few of brothers friends all went bowling... below are a couple of pictures from that :)
Yes, I ate from the center of the brownie pan... And I'm not even sorry.
Big brother Carl and I often get distracted...
And I think he likes beer more than I do.
That's about all I have for a run down lately. I will post a note tomorrow (that I am going to strategically write tonight) about all of the travel I have done lately.
Till then, enjoy a picture of my super cute niece!
It's a fuzzy picture but she's still the cutest baby in the world.
XOXO
Becca
