Twinkie Interaction

So I was sitting at my desk today... and I got to thinking.  I should find more information on XY and Z for work.  But I could not seem to find the right information!  There was nothin' online!  So Melissa (the sister, see here) being so resourceful, did some research for me.  Here is our conversation (word-for-word):

Rebecca: Know anything about Gloss Tech Floor Finish?
Melissa: nope. why
Rebecca: JW... how are your research skills?  --> (JW means just wondering...)
Melissa: fine. Want help?
Rebecca: Yes please
It's sold as a "no-maintenance" floor finish... I can't find the manufacturer...
Melissa: Gabriel?
Rebecca: Who is that?
Melissa: http://www.gabrielfirst.com/products/techsheets/ultragloss300techbulletin.htm
Rebecca: I don't think that's it... it's actually called Gloss Tech and it probably has a lot higher solids (if you look at the specifications)
Melissa: http://atlantaredcreative.blog.hr/2011/05/1629256306/gloss-tech-floor-finishgloss-laglosstechfloorfinish.html
Not in english though
Rebecca: I have 100 different translators
Melissa: Well then... is this what you're looking for?
Rebecca: but not for that language
dang
Nope.
Melissa: lol
ok. omp
Melissa: found it. Answer:
http://www.jfbhartcoatings.com/
Rebecca: you deserve a big sparkly award for that one.
THANK YOU
Melissa: I LOVE research:) WELCOME!!

(for the record, it's called "Gloss Tek".  No wonder I couldn't find it!!!  (not to discredit your capabilities, Melissa.))

So that was it... Believe it or not, that conversation (and all of the words above including a phone call for specifics) happened in less than 3 minutes.  Talking fast is not only efficient but it's AWESOME!
Melissa - GO US!!
Consider this "Props", Moe...  It's on the world wide web!!

So I've been sitting at the kitchen table all day working on work stuff and I looked over to find my dog doing yoga.

Yoga.

You didn't mis-read that...

Yoga.

Seen here:
I'll try to take a better one.  She does it a lot. :)
This one is called the "upward facing dog".
She inspired me to try yoga tonight.  I will do it and I will (probably not) love it.

Also, I was listening to Friends just now and here was the conversation:
Monica: "I just had to turn down catering for a funeral with 60 people."
Rachel: "Oh my Gosh, what happened??"
Monica: "60 guests."
Phoebe: "You sound like MoniCAN'T, not MoniCAN!"

I laughed.

I also got a call back from the man with a vacuum (see this post) and my suspicions were correct.  He has been calling me frequently.  I was sort of waiting for him to give up...  That plan backfired.

So I asked him "How old do you suspect I am?"
Vacuum man: "Somewhere between 28 and 34."
Me: "Wrong.  I'm guessing you're 46."
Vacuum man: "Wow... that was embarassingly accurate."
Me: "Yeah, yours wasn't...  I'm sorry, I just don't think it's appropriate for us to talk."
Vacuum Man: "Well I think we can talk... If you're younger than I thought we might have an issue - I don't want to have anymore kids, I'm past that point in my life."
Me: "Yeah....... I want kids.  And you're twice my age + 4 years.  And approximately 3 years younger than my father.  Back to this 'inappropriate' conversation.  I don't think we should be in contact anymore."
Vacuum man: "OK!  Good luck with the kids."
Me: "Yeah, you too."

Want to know what I learned from this conversation???

...I'm a really good guesser!!

Speaking of my sister, she's got this awesome giveaway going on HERE... Go check it out!

That's all I have for today.  Sorry there wasn't more content here... HAPPY TUESDAY NIGHT!!

Rebecca
