I am a twin. I tell people that first because it's typically the first question I get (to this day) when Melissa and I meet someone, or when they have seen "Me" before. So I always make it a point to get that out of the way quickly.
I'm also tall... Again, to clear the air before the question arises, I do not play basketball.
Last week at the liquor store (no, I do not spend much time there) I was approached by a man the size of a garden gnome. He wasn't a midget by definition, but compared to yours truly, he was pretty little. I was wearing 4" heels that didn't help his case at all. When he walked up he was about at the height of my belly button, so he looks up (and up and up) and asks (in his high pitched voice) "Do you play basketball?"
I smiled.
It's times like these where you can't help but think to yourself "No... do you play mini golf?"
Needless to say I would have made an enemy that day so, as in many occasions, I bite my tongue and head for the exit.
Anyway, so I'm a twin and I'm tall. I have an awesome older brother. And I don't say that because he can read this and cause physical harm to me (he only does that to the men that try to date me), but because he's genuinely pretty dang cool.
I work a lot, went to college, and don't have a plethora of friends. The friends that I DO have, make up for the lacking quantity.
